1. Notification – M2M One Easter Operating Hours
We’d like to remind all customers that M2M One will be closed for the Easter public holiday period this month.
M2M One will be closed on the following days:
- Friday 25th of March (Good Friday)
- Monday 28th of March (Easter Monday)
2. Trade Event – Connect 2016, Melbourne – 19-20 April
M2M One are pleased to once again be participating in one of Australia’s leading ICT and emerging technology events, Connect 2016.
Connect is taking place at Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from the 19th – 20th of April 2016.
M2M One will be exhibiting alongside M2M Connectivity at stand #42 exhibiting our range of M2M SIM Card, Data Plan and Network services.
On Tuesday the 19th of April M2M One & M2M Connectivity will be hosting a free 25 minute seminar on ‘Developing a Cellular IoT/M2M Solution in Australia’ at the Connect ICT Theatre on the show floor – The seminar starts at 12:30pm – 12:55pm.

4. Reminder – Telstra 2G 900MHz Shutdown
M2M One would like to continue to remind customers that Telstra will discontinue their 2G/GSM 900MHz network on the 1st of December 2016. This will impact all M2M One customers utilising 2G/GSM only hardware in Australia.

M2M One customers with 2G devices have the opportunity to utilise 3G and soon, 4G LTE. All M2M One SIM cards are compatible with the Telstra 2G, 3G (and soon) 4G network, so you will not need to physically change any SIM cards from M2M One.
M2M One customers affected by the shut down of Telstra’s 2G/GSM network who are looking for solutions/alternatives for their 2G/GSM devices are advised to contact a 3G/4G LTE device vendor.
